Housewives of Melbourne's Pooch Party not quite on par with New York Pooch Parties

Episode 9 Season 1 of The Housewives of Melbourne saw the Housewives get together for a Pooch Party. Not a usual watcher of the show I tuned in specifically to see some high end Dog Couture and was disappointed to find that other than Lois Vuitton Dog Carriers the Housewives were not on par with the women in New York that run canine fashion parades to raise funds for rescue dogs.
The highlight of the episode was where the dogs dressed up in a collection of very common commercial dog costumes.
